Funny how years and sports can change your attitude. I remember thoroughly enjoying that movie years ago at the theatres. Now, I tried to watch it on Starz, and all the Boston accents, the talk of Fisk's HR and all this Boston sh*t, and seeing Ben Affleck, I had to shut it off. Can't stand Boston sh*t anymore. Probably couldn't even watch Cheers anymore. Matt Damon's a real skilled actor though. I enjoy basically anything he does. That's a testament to how good he is. |

Great movie. I give both Damon and Affleck credit since they wrote the thing, but Affleck is a major handjob and has shown this movie was his peak, whereas Damon is money in every role. |

He's probably given a few handjobs in his day too. |

Good Will Hunting is a great movie. I can get past the whole Boston thing.
I'm sure Kevin Smith was on the other end of those handjobs. |

I've been wanting to see this for a long time. Supposedly they give it on Starz from time to time, so maybe I can watch it there. |

I saw it a while back. I know that I remember it being a great movie but I can't remember the details. |

Same. And the sad part is even knowing I remembered it being a great movie, the whole Boston flavor made it feel like I was watching Fahrenheit 9/11. Their classless fans and behavior have really ruined that place for me. I had no dislike for that place at all. In fact, the Celtics, Bruins, and Patriots were teams I could root for. The sad part is it's an absolutely beautiful city. Good things happen to bad people though and the residents don't resemble the beauty that city has. |

It's not like the main theme of Good Will Hunting is Boston sports. I won't watch Fever Pitch for that reason, well that and because it's clearly an awful movie, but Good Will Hunting easily could take place in another city with the same overall theme. |
