I assume this is something you gotta have followed from the beginning right? I got the seasons on DVD, but of recent time, I haven't had the consistant time off to watch any. I mean, if I'm going to watch a show on DVD, I want to watch the whole season, especially a cliffhanger type that show apparently is. Could I start watching and not miss much of what happened? |

You definitely want to watch them in order. You can bang out a whole season during a slow weekend. My sister watched half of season 3 this past weekend. It's addicting and you want to see what will happen next, so you will keep popping in episode after episode, even if you planned on doing other things.
The thought of banging her makes me sick. What's that guy thinking? |

I dunno, but it took him 5 minutes to tell Edgar, which is very afeminite. Maybe big Spencer is bi-sexual |

Yeah, nice job covering up the relationship to Edgar. Edgar seemed a little jealous. He seems like the kind of guy who would lust after an ugly whiner like Chloe. The only thing I like about Chloe is Jack has her in his corner. |

Seeing as Edgar cant speak, I dont assume he gets much action, so he'd have to set the bar low. Chloe is mentally insane I think. She unloads three rounds into the guys stomach and Jack yells at her and she walks away with her head down like she just got yelled at by the teacher. |

Yeah, she exhibits a lot of body language that screams out a lack of confidence, including the slumping shoulders, looking down, and uncomfortable, irritated looks on her face. |

I know, it's so much better on DVD. I saw the first 2 seasons on DVD the summer before season 3 and this is the 3rd that I am watching live. I always start watching it at least a few minutes late though, so I could fast forward through the commercials. Then when they come out on DVD, I pick them up, and watch again at my own pace. I didn't get a chance to watch season 4 again all in a row, but I plan on using it to help get through the week until the next season 5 episode over the next month or so. You actually forget little details when you watch it live that you pick up as almost new when you watch them a year later on DVD. |

Beecause you unintentionally watch 5 hours at a time. Its like those marijuana commercials where the burn out forgets to pick up his brother at school...."yeah uh I was watching 24..." |

I got so hooked to season one that I canceled plans on a Friday night and watched it all night until the sun came up. That's how much 24 is like a drug. |

I have to watch it when it airs because a lot of people I know will be talking about the previous night's episode, and I don't want to hear them give it away and I want to participate in the discussions. I'd buy the DVDs, but they're so expensive that it's almost not worth it. 2 seasons of Seinfeld = 1 season of 24. It's not fair. :no1: |

I have to watch them live now for the same reason. If I heard anything about the first two seasons, I didn't know what people were talking about anyway. Now I'd be furious if I heard something before I saw it. It actually makes sense it's more expensive than Seinfeld since Seinfeld is a half hour sitcom (20 min. each on DVD) and 24 is an hour long drama (40 min. each on DVD). That's why it's so much more affordable to buy sitcoms on DVD. The real problem is HBO shows. The Sopranos is 13 episodes a year and the seasons cost upwards of $80 each. |

I probably should have popped them in these past 3 days. How many hours would it take to watch each season on DVD? I keep thinking 24 and expect to have to watch 24 hours to finish a season, but with commercials and editing, how much is it really? They are 7 Disc sets, so it's gotta be legitimately long. Most seasons that I have and watch are 4, 5 discs of half hour episodes. |

They come to about 40 minutes each. You can bang out a season in a week if you have some time. Just make sure to start with the first season. |

It's legitimately 24 episodes of 40 minutes? So around 16 HRs a season of TV. That's not bad. 8 less than the 24. Round up a litle on the minutes, it might be 17, 18 hours. |

Yeah, I would say each one is 40-42 minutes long. It's on regular TV, so commercial time is pretty standard, whereas you will get some episodes of The Sopranos be longer than others since there are no commercial breaks. |

And then you get those episodes where they end like 20 minutes early and you feel cheated, since they have that entire timeslot to their disposal |

I know. Sometimes I sense it is ending after 41 or 42 minutes and I literally yell at the TV, "No, come on! Give us a full hour!" |
