As far as know, that has nothing to do with your credit. |

Yes, all your banking does affect your credit rating. If you apply for your credit rating from one of the big three you will find they know when you jerked off into the ATM machine. Over-extending your credit is not a good idea. |

This will not affect you in terms of "Bad Credit" - you sound young , so they would consider you to have what they call "Light Credit" You SHOULD build a credit rating and history. You need good credit to get your phone and power turned on these days - let alone buy a car or house. |

Yeah, I'm thinking about getting a credit card once I get a job. Good to know that this doesn't affect me in a horrible way though. I ordered something thinking I had more money than I really had. |

Don't worry about it if it's a one time thing, which this seems to be. Just don't make it a habit. Once you order a credit card, make sure to always make the minimum payments on time. I always pay them off when I get each bill because I am against paying ridiculously high finance charges, but if you must carry a balance, make sure you make as large a payment as possible, and do it by the due date each month. I don't even own a debit card, never have. I put everything on my credit card, get miles for it, then pay it off at the end of the month. |
