Remember that 9/11 movie by Oliver Stone? They've started building mockups of Ground Zero. Unbelievable. f*ck him.

i hate oliver stone, but i don't see what's so wrong with this article. they are filming it as far away as new york city as possible to avoid bringing back memories of that event. they also have to have a set to be able to show the damage that was done. it would be impossible not to portray the scenes properly without it. yes, it's controversial to make the movie so soon, and for profit, but this is just expected stuff.

This shouldn't be made at all, at least not right now. Re-creation of Ground Zero? I find it very disrespectful. Maybe that's just me.

well, i understand, but that all goes back to the debate over the movie being made in the first place. this is to be expected now that the movie is being made

I know.......but my point is the movie never should even be made. It's nuts that they're making a movie about it and recreating Ground Zero.

I agree with the point that the movie should never be made, especially this soon, but if you're going to do it, you might as well make it look right. The biggest problem is that with Oliver Stone behind it, there will about 500 lies and no truths to the movie.
