Didn't he host a show with Sommers a couple of years back?

Yeah, they've become friends. Jerry is on the publicity tour to sell seasons 5 and 6 for the holidays. They went on sale today.

I missed that. Jerry mentioned on Somers' show that he was going to be on Larry King tonight too. I guess I missed that as well.

I've had every episode on tape since 1997. The new ones I taped until it ended in 1998. Taping them all was my senior year of college project. People used to come by our apartment and request viewings of their favorite episodes. It's great to finally have them on DVD too though.

Yeah, I've been obsessed with the show since the pilot episode. I was telling people in early high school to watch it and they didn't even know what it was. When people see me years later, they still bring up two things: Seinfeld and the Yankees. My college girlfriend asked me to rank my love of three things: herself, Seinfeld, and the Yankees. My answer: "It's a 3-way tie." Needless to say it was a little harder to get some that night.

I can't believe that show has been off the air nearly as long as it was on.

I know, I was thinking that today when I was listening to him on the FAN. Time flies.

Lemme give you some insight on this:

1) Somers is an ex- Comedian from SF - he met Seinfeld on the circuit back in the day.

2) When Russ Salzberg got axed...they axed Somers as well - Seinfeld called FAN brass personally and lobied for his return - I think he got his power agent involved as well....Then when Somers was reinstated - Seinfeld did 3 hours in studio with him....
