DOES SHEFFIELD MAKE IT FOR MAKING OUT HERE OR DOES HE GET A PASS, SINCE GIAMBI WAS THE MAIN PERSON TO SCREW US OUT OF RUNS |

Yea, including the important hit to plate our 1st run in this game. You guys call for the 2 out hits, Sheffield delivers to cut the lead in half, and it goes unnoticed. We now have the lead. If Sheffield doesn't come through there, the whole complexion of the game changes. |

MATSUI IN CF AND SIERRA IN LF IS BETTER TO ME THAN BERNIE IN CF AND MATSUI IN LF WITH NO DH |

YOU ARE RIGHT, BUT IN DEFENSE, SHEFFIELD'S HIT WAS PUT ON A TEE, HANGING CURVE |

I don't like the fact that Rivera is being forced to work 2 innings. |

JUAN RIVERA IS ANGRILY IMITATING TERRENCE LONG FROM THE 01 ALDS; A MEDIOCRE HITTER HITTING OVER THEIR HEAD AND BECOMING A VERY DIFFICULT OUT |

I THINK THEY HAVE TO. WHAT BOTHERS ME MORE IS THE FACT THAT HES HERE WITH ONLY 1 RUN, WHEN THE 7TH SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT AT LEAST ONE OR TWO MORE |

YEAH. WELL, EVERY BATTER GOT NEAR PERFECT PITCHES TODAY FROM LACKEY. SHEFFIELD WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO GET A HANGER, AND TO HIS DEFENSE HE TOOK ADVANTAGE |

Yea, and Figgins took advantage of a pitch from Chacon right down the middle of the plate, but we hoist him up like he's a god. Please. :please: |

IT WAS AN OK ONE, BUT ESCOBAR HAS BECOME WELL MORE RELIANT ON BREAKING STUFF THAN JUST HIS FASTBALL |

BERNIE RIPPED IT AT LEAST. HE STILL CAN TURN ON A FASTBALL. IF WE DIDN'T ALREADY HAVE SIERRA AND BERNIE COULD HIT OTHER PITCHES AND PLAY THE FIELD WELL, I'D WANT HIM BACK FOR THE BENCH |

Bringing Bernie back would be the wrong kind of thinking by this organization. That's what's gotten them in trouble. They gotta stop signing players based on past performance. I want young quick energetic guys next year. |
