LOSING THIS SERIES IS GONNA BUG ME BIG TIME

BECAUSE THE CHI SOX ARE A WAY EASIER ROAD TO PAST TO THE WORLD SERIES THAN BOSTON. WE HAD THIS SET UP RIGHT WHERE WE WANTED, FACING A WEAKER, UNDISCIPLINED HITTING ANAHEIM TEAM THAT WAS GIVING US PAUL BYRD AND JARROD WASHBURN TO FEAST ON AT HOME. NOW, ITS MORE LIKELY WE'LL BE GOING HOME IN 4 THAN EVEN BRINGING THIS TO ANAHEIM. I SWEAR, RANDOMLY PUT KANSAS CITY IN THE POST-SEASON AND THIS GUTLESS YANKEE TEAM COULD SHOOT ITSELF IN THE FOOT ENOUGH TO MAKE A SERIES OF IT

The White Sox would rape this team. We're like Boston, big bats (though they don't show up nearly as often as Boston's do), but not much else. The starting pitching is a question mark, the bullpen is right there with Boston's as one of the laughing stocks in baseball (outside of Mo), the defense is putrid, and we don't know how to play small ball. They also have a much better manager.

EVEN SEEING THE WAY CHICAGO PLAYED, THEY DON'T SCARE ME NEARLY AS MUCH. GRANTED, I THINK THEY'LL BEAT ANAHEIM AND HAVE A GOOD SHOT IN THE SERIES. I JUST DON'T FEAR THEM. I THINK THE GUTLESS UNIT COULD ACTUALLY REDEEM HIMSELF IN A START WITH THEM. THEY ARE A TEAM THAT CAN SCORE ON DECENT PITCHING, BUT IF YOU BRING YOUR A GAME, THEY CAN'T TOUCH YA

Chi Sox are very beatable but we have no reason to think the Yanks can even get there.

If a guy like RJ brings his "A game" he can beat anybody. After seeing how the ChiSox just dismantled Boston, I can't say I'd be looking forward to a series with them.

FOR SURE. CANT BELIEVE THIS TEAM. THEIR GUTLESSNESS EVEN AMAZES ME STILL. I FIGURED ANAHEIM IN 4, BUT I HAD REALLY BELIEVED ANAHEIM WAS A REALLY GOOD TEAM IN EVERY FACET OF THE GAME THAT WOULD BE ABLE TO LEGITIMATELY BEAT US. I DIDN'T REALIZE THE YANKEES WERE GOING TO BE THE ONE TO BEAT THEMSELVES YET AGAIN. ALL ANAHEIM HAS THAT IMPRESSES ME IS THE FRONT 2, DEFENSE, AND THE PEN. THEIR OFFENSE ISN'T AS REMOTELY SCARY

ITS MATCHUPS BUDDY. LIKE WITH BOXING. SOME DONT FARE WELL WITH A SOUTHPAW, BUT THE PERSON THAT LOSES TO THE SOUTHPAW CAN KILL THE GUY THAT OWNS THE SOUTHPAW. I DONT BUY FOR A SECOND THAT THE RED SOX WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER IN THE ALCS THAN CHICAGO. ITS MOOT SINCE WE'RE NOT GETTING THERE

i thought Chicago was the best team in baseball, i think there doing it this year. Also the reason u say boston is because u fear them, because u let them f*ck with your mind after last year. Drop the loser mentality this isnt boston, we actually won the series agaisnt them this year.

10-9. IT WASN'T LIKE WE OWNED THEM. THEY COST US HOMEFIELD ADVANTAGE, ALTHOUGH I DOUBT IT MATTERS

They'd both be very tough. On paper, we do match up with the White Sox a hell of a lot better than the Red Sox, but on paper Boston should've clocked the White Sox and instead they got their teeth kicked in because their pitching and fielding is an awful joke (much like ours), and they don't play small ball. Chicago could just as easily do to us what they did to Boston, maybe even worse. Even if by some miracle we do get the ALCS, Chicago will be more rested, and they'll have their pitching in order. We've f*cked ourselves real good by going in to a 1-2 hole. We have to win today, travel to Anaheim win there tomorrow, then travel to Chicago to open the ALCS. That'll take a toll on the team right there, and honestly, I don't know if this team has it in them to pull this off.

And Chicago played us even at 3-3, it's a much smaller sample size, so I don't really know who'd be the better match up for us. Just that with the White Sox there'd be a little less tension. Bottomline, either team would've been hard as hell to beat.

We'll see what happens. We got a game 4 to worry about today though (or tomorrow, don't know how the weather is in the Bronx). So that's what I'm focused on. Don't see us moving on from this series, but I'm hoping these guys can prove me wrong, and show that they've got more guts than I give them credit for.

IT WOULD JUST GO AGAINST THE TEAM'S PERSONALITY FOR ME TOO MUCH TO BELIEVE THEY CAN COMEBACK. IT'D BE LIKE A MAN THAT SHAKES OF FEAR WHEN HIS 5 OLD DAUGHTER WANTS HIM TO RESCUE HER CAT FROM A TREE. DO YOU REALLY EXPECT HIM TO GO INTO A BURNING BUILDING AND BE A HERO

it comes down to heart, and us and boston both lack it. Chicago has it and thats y there superior to the both of us

Well, we're going to see just how much heart the Yankees lack. I really believe if we get put in anything more than an early 2-0 hole, this series will end today. :no1: Chacon needs to shut the Angels down.
