These kids have no idea what the pain and suffering of a Red Sox fan was all about. I work with a Red Sox fan who last year was 68 years old and for the first time in his life saw the Sox win it all. The man was reduced to tears. Nobody that is a Sox fan in their teens should be talking about the suffering and pain. People lived entire lifetimes and never saw the Sox win a thing.

Shut up, grumpy old people. What was I supposed to say? We were playing like we were dead. Anyone who was watching the game, I mean we couldnt get anything going, Papi was the only one doing anything half decent for this team. This team is not the 2004 Red Sox, there there the 2005 Red Sox. And the way they have been playing lately, I have plenty of reason to doubt them.
And I got news for you, A Red Sox in his teens has endured more suffering than alot of Yankee fans have done period. I want to stop hearing the little spoiled sh*t Ive been hearing, sure the Teenage Boston fan is spoiled, but whether you believe it or not, I appreciate everyminute of it and know it wont last long, no city gets the type of run we are (although baseball wise, I think its bout to be over). As for the other Boston fans, they arent spoiled, they deserve every championship we get, after all the years of the Celtics being the only team that could win around here.
The reality is, I cant win, I say we are going to lose, and I look like spoiled and all that sh*t you guys whine about, If I say we are going to win Im a little cocky punk, You guys are going to complain regardless.

And last year didn't make up for that? The past week Sox fans have called in to the sports shows around here with the same doom and gloom attitude they always had. I thought after last year things would have changed but that's not the case. I don't remember who said or what station I was listening to but one of the hosts asked a Sox fan how in the world so many Sox fans can still have that loser attitude.
I'm scared shitless having to go into Fenway this weekend. If you don't think the Sox have a advanatge right now you're an idiot.

And I got news for you, A Red Sox in his teens has endured more suffering than alot of Yankee fans have done period.
Have you ever seen your closer, the greatest off all-time, blow a game 7 after your team fought like hell all series? Ever see it happen cause an error was made and a bloop hit? Guess what, I have.
Have you ever seen your team blow a 3-0 ALCS lead against their biggest rivals? Ever see them blow it with the the greatest closer of all time blowing back-to-back games? Ever see it with a ball that was ruled a ground rule double causing the runner from first not to score which would have been the go ahead run? Ever see losing the games six and seven at home? Ever see KEVIN f*cking BROWN START A GAME SEVEN FOLLOWED BY JAVY VAZQUEZ? Guess what, I have.
Don't tell me about suffering, Junior.

It's funny that Yankee fans are more confident that the Sox will win this weekend than they are. If I were a Sox fan, I'd consider them invincible, especially because of a guy named Ortiz, he kills everybody but especially the Yankees. Worst case scenario for Boston was going in to this weekend down 4 to the Yankees. They're not down 4, they can and will win the Division by two, and knock us out of the playoffs.

Id prefer a 1 game lead going to the stadium over a 1 game deficit at Fenway. Despite the fact we seem to OWN at Fenway

Well yes I agree but you have been pretty fortunate and should not try to get mad at Sox fans when we complain. You are one of the most negative guys here, and the Yankees do not deserve to be critizied by people like you because you have been so fortunate to see so many titles in so little time.
You are right on the fact that we have not suffered as long as some Sox fans but please for you to complain about that give me a break. Why are you speaking for the 80 year old sox fans? You Yankee fans do not even know.

I've seen 4. But guess what. I not satisfied with just 4. Know why? I'm a Yankee fan. I never settle for second best.
Chris makes it sound like the Sox have had it tougher over the last 4-5 years. That's bull.

Andy was only 12 when the Yanks won their last championship. When I was 12 I couldn't remember my name.
From the time you guys were born in 1988 till 2003 when the Sox got really good what kind of heartbreak was there? You were 2 years old in 1990, 7 years old in '95 when they lost to the superior 100-44 Indians. In 99 the Sox after Pedro featured a rotation of Bret Saberhagen, Kent Mercker, Ramon Martinez and Mark Portugal with Nomar as your only good hitter so that was not a devastating loss against the greatest postseason team in history(1999 Yankees).

It was no more awful for you guys than 2004 was for us. Please stop acting like some long suffering fan.
- Quote:

And last year didn't make up for that?
Last time I checked it is still 26-6. Yankees fans complain now why can't we?
Beanboy, I have no problem with you, it's your boy BB15 who ticks me off.
 He ticks a lot of people off

1988 till 2003 when the Sox got really good
What about 95-04? The Yanks were really good.

This isn't about the Yankees.
And I agree with YF03. You're good people. We don't have a problem with you. It's with Chris.
