Manny's too stupid to know what an ego is. Damon just wants to be in the next Herbal Essence commercial. And Trot is all about the lunch pale and blue collars and hard hats and dirty construction boots. He keeps his helmet filthy; he's so gritty.

He's about as geniunely gritty as a bowl of vanilla pudding.

Gotta steal this...

[sarcasm]But what about the 4 year old pine tar he keeps on his helmet and those sliding catches he makes? Does that not make him a tough guy?[/sarcasm]

This will change when McKeon gets his ass canned. He probably does even know the kid's name.

Cabrera isn't in the mood for a lecture, however.

"[Forget] the veterans," he told the Post. "They haven't told me anything and they better not come tell me anything, either.

.321 with 32 HRs and 112 RBIs? I don't care what his attitude is like if he produces like that. Besides, who the f*ck wants to play for a team like the Marlins has little to no fans? Don't say Delgado, because he's an idiot.

I want this guy on the Yankees. We need a cocky, arrogant son of a bitch on this team. All we have are a bunch of damn bitches and I'm sick of it, I'm sick of losers. Get me a winner, which is exactly what this guy is.

How great would it be if Derek Jeter said something to him, and he turned around and told Jeter to shove it up his ass. Oh that would be great. Jeter needs to be told to f*ck off by somebody anyway, hasn't done sh*t since the '00 WS. :peace:

those numbers are sick, especially given his age and the fact that florida isn't a great place to hit at all. his prime could be just sick. technically, even albert pujols hasn't reached his prime yet.

all the proof you need how cabrera is a man was that entire 03 post-season, the 1st inning ab against clemens in particular. got brushed back, was the behind the count early, and still fought and served a homer to right. rookies aren't supposed to being doing that. he hit the some of best pitching that post-season and he knows it.
