If they keep on winning and pass other teams via the W-L column they will forfeit the #1 pick when they sign (and they will) a big name FA this winter. I don’t know where the cut-off is but if you are in the bottom X teams you do not lose the #1 pick.

A team should always play to win, but the orders have to come from above to play youth. I've been quite pleased with the way the Mets have finished. Wright, Reyes, Jacobs, and Diaz have all been given a fairly good chance lately and the pitching has been excellent. A.Hernandez was finally called up, but didn't look ready. At least they gave him a chance though.

Yup, Willie has given all the young kids a shot and alot of them have produced, it's great to see!!!
