whats the show about?

It's right up your alley as a Seinfeld fan. It's partially scripted, partially adlibbed. It's just Larry David living his life as former co-creator of Seinfeld. Most of the main characters use their real first names, but fake last names. His best friend, Jeff, is also his business manager. It might take a little getting used to the humor, but once you watch it a few times, you realize how much Larry David was the inspiration behind George Costanza.

Start with season 1, but don't start judging it until you get into the regular episodes of season 1. The first one on the DVD is the mock documentary, which might seem weird. I saw it after I saw several episodes first.

I'm about to watch Sunday night's episode now. The satellite was getting pixillations last night as it TiVo'd, so I had to hit it up again tonight.

It had problems again tonight! This is ridiculous! What the hell is with HBO not coming in for me lately? I better not miss this episode. I'm sure it is on another 5 times this week, but if this keeps happening, I am screwed.

i read a quote where larry david is proud to be selfish. and you guys said he's a real life costanza. i might not be able to handle it. i f*cking hate overly selfish beings. costanza was an act, so it was hilarious. real life constanzas arent funny. the last thing we need is more entitlement and selfishness in this country

That's a funny ad. So true too.

I saw an ad on the Subway that had his face on it and said something like "the only man who hires hookers just to drive in the carpool lane."

I was cracking up on the subway! I must have looked like a madman!

Did you see that episode? It was hilarious. It's the one when they went to the Dodger game. Funnily enough, a man was found innocent of murder based on that episode since he was in the background in one of the Dodger Stadium scenes, which is when the murder took place.

Yeah, remember when his Dad smokes up and realizes he's been hanging out with a hooker?

By the way, how funny are his Dad's glasses? Larry David must love those kind of glasses on old people because Morty Seinfeld used to wear similar ones.
