He's not that good like 473 makes him out to be.

the scouting reports seem to shine a very bright on line, but those reports can go in a sewer. but still. if he lives up the hype, he'll be dominant. wonder why they held calling him up til a point where he cant help that ravished bullpen

He was hurt.

Plus as long as he was on the 40 man roster on 9/1 and they have a hurt pitcher or two on the DL, he is eligible.

473, wait until Cox becomes a good reliever too. The Yankees picked an athletic player in the first round and their young reliever in the 2nd. I certainly wouldn't have had a problem with drafting Hansen, but once I saw them get Cox in the 2nd, I was ok with passing on him.

Question for you, 473:

If the Yankees had drafted Hansen, would you have knocked him, maybe because his hair is a little longer, hence making him a pretty boy?

Hansen was good for the Red Storm, but the Yankees drafted the NCAA Relief Pitcher of the Year out of Texas, which is clearly a lot better program than St. John's.
