I'll be laughing last at the end of the year....I still have a GREAT feeling about this year despite what I saw on Sunday. I predicted a loss to KC weeks ago, I told EVERYONE I know how I felt about that game, keep dissin', this team will get it together! :agent: |

It's not devastating losing on the road, in probably the most hostile environment in the league to a good team...Losing 21-17 or 21-14 then fine... But not even myself, can be too optimistic about the way they played. It was plain out aybsmal. The only gimmer of hope was Law-Abraham and Baker...But you can't build off of that, the Jets came out flat and I know for a fact they will come out with some fire next week for sure... But both sides of the ball, just disgusting. I think they'll beat Miami...But boy they got a load of a schedule ahead... |

We'll just stay under the radar. In Week 14 all of sudden people will say...Damn, the Jets are 10-3? |

Agreed, and I can see that!!! Yes, they played like sh*t when you talk about the turnovers and blocked FG, but that will correct itself. Pennington WILL NOT fumble the ball like he did in Game 1 the REST of the year, the pick by Chad, bad, but that's gonna happen. The lack of run D early on and the mistackles, that will get better. This team out gained the Chiefs and if it wasn't for the STUIPID TO's and missed FG on the bad foot work by Nugent that is a close game in the 4th Qtr...I feel good about things and think things will get better. I'm not no optimist either, especially with the Jets! |

I think you make a great point in terms of under the radar. That's what the Jets MO has been forever...Underrated, no one gives them a chance and they relish at that. Now that the media has jumped all over them, some predicting Super Bowl, could they handle the pressure of that? Did they think they'd just get a free ride and coast to Detroit? Maybe they bought into the hype and hence this is what happened. Good point Floyd, now that just about every analyst has bashed the Jets and now some think they won't get anywhere after 1 game, maybe now the Jets fly back under the radar and be what we all love them to be...The Underdog. |

Exactly. He of all people should know that. They started the season 2-2 also, and then just exploded. That can happen here with the talent. It just has to mesh. Hopefully it can. |

dont say sh*t like that, theres alot of teams with just as much talent on the field, hell the giants probably have as many marque players, but that team wins, and there gonna be good again |

Sunday's loss was tough, and I was incredibly pissed. That said, one game is too early to give up. I'll give them 4 games, if we're 2-2, I still like our chances, if we're 1-3, I'll be getting very nervous, 0-4, and I may give up, you can't start 0-4, especially in our division, so we need to get one in the W column this week, no question about it. |
