I missed the 1st Quarter, so if they mentioned anything about him I missed it. Why didn't he play? |

Will "Robinson Cano" Peterson had sprained his knee in the 2nd pre-season game and has been sitting out since. All the time he was saying that he'd be good by week 1 and that it wasn't a problem. Before go time, he tells coach he can't go. Not mad at him though. Peterson, one of my favorites, is no Charmin boy. If he said he couldn't go, he couldn't. I give him credit for being able to swallow his pride and not make the start (a lot of guys wouldn't). Especially coming after first 16 game season. |

Yeah.... atleast they made the adjustment and put Webster on Fitzgerald in the 2nd half. Back in the day an "adjustment" constituted Jason Sehorn on Terrell Owens in the slot |

That was stand-up comedy right there. It NEEEEEEEVER occured to them to move a corner to the slot and put Sehorn outside. Nooooooo, Sehorn in the slot and it doesn't matter which receiver is lined up there. You got War Machine from the comics lined up against a dude who can't run or tackle. Never occured to them that the 49ers were putting Owens in the slot for THAT reason. And they wonder why it failed. |
