What is this folk hero sh*t I keep reading? In The Post & Daily News, they've called him a folk hero. He's the black Paul Bunyan now?

I think the "cult hero" tag is obvious at this point.

Every Giants fan who follows the team reasonably closely (this includes all of us here) knows that one of their biggest problem over the past several years has been short yardage. Jacobs looks like he instantly makes them 100% better in that area and the fans recognize that as a key to success in the red zone and in sustaining drives.
