How will the fans react to the favorites after this road trip? Will it be safe for the players to take the field? Will they send players down to Norfolk so that team has a better chance of winning? Better yet they should leave these f*cking losers up here. They would only screw up Norfolk’s chances of winning.

Can you blame the fans? This team has quit on Dumbo and except for a couple of young players the rest are just going through the motions. Tanking it we call it. The fans don’t want to waste their money to see Ice, Offerman, Soo, DiFelice, Cairo, Woodward, Looper, etc. They finally brought up Hernandez but who is playing 2nd, none other then Mr. Cairo and his 15 RBI’s. I think Cairo’s performance this year for the Mets versus last year for the Yankees proves just how important it is to have coverage in a lineup. Having the great Yankee offensive machine around Cairo caused him to have a better year with them then he’s having with the Mets. With the Yankees he got more meatball pitches as opposing pitches would rather throw fastballs down the middle then walk him and there is a natural tendency to relax a little against the one or two weaker hitters in the lineup after facing superstar after superstar.
