Q: Best thing about New York?

A: When I go out to the practice field, I see the Empire State Building and it reminds me where I am.

Q: Worst thing about New York?

A: The roads. They'll really mess your car up.

Q: What about the traffic?

A: I'm a patient person so it really doesn't bother me.

Q: Did the roads damage your car yet?

A: Blew my suspension on my Range Rover the first day I got here.

Q: Pothole?

A: Yeah. Didn't see it.

Q: Why did the Giants appeal to you?

A: I get to play with a great quarterback, great running back, great tight end ...

Q: Curtis Martin is one of your favorite players.

A: He doesn't get the accolades he deserves. He's one of the greatest running backs over the past 10 years ... the little moves he makes that nobody sees and the way he protects himself when he gets in situations where other guys would get hurt. You see the way he carries himself, the type of person he is.

Q: Was it a burden being hailed as The Next Randy Moss coming out of Michigan State?

A: It didn't bother me. I'm never gonna be Randy Moss, I'm always gonna be myself. I wasn't in a Randy Moss offense, so ...

Q: Who's the biggest trash-talking cornerback?

A: Dwight Smith.

Q: Is he funny?

A: Hilarious. I thought I was in a WWF match when I was playing against him. I beat him for 127 yards and he was just still talking up. Maybe he doesn't get it.

Q: Do you talk back?

A: I do too much running to be jabbing and jawing with guys.

Q: Ray Lewis called you Plexiglass?

A: That was Shannon Sharpe. After I finished dealing with (the Ravens), they were calling me "Mr. Burress." 'Cause out of the next seven games, I think five of 'em were 100-yard games. They were happy to see me leave their conference.

Q: How is Ben Roethlisberger different, personality-wise, from Eli Manning?

A: Eli really doesn't say much, kinda laid-back. Ben's a happy-go-lucky guy. Nothing bothers that dude.

Q: The one thing you wish you could change about yourself?

A: Nothing! I wouldn't be Plaxico.

Q: What would people be surprised to learn about you?

A: I'm a wine connoisseur.

Q: How many minks do you have?

A: It's a fox, not a mink.

Q: You brought it to New York?

A: Of course.

Q: Describe it.

A: Brown, dark brown, big, fluffy.

Q: Where'd you get it?

A: Cleveland.

Q: You spiked the ball in Jacksonville.

A: A learning experience. My second game as a rookie. I made a big play across the middle and thought I was still in college. Got up, spiked the ball, and I saw everybody running the other way and I was like, "What the hell's going on?" But we were up two touchdowns so it didn't cost us.

Q: You worked out in the offseason with Jeremy Shockey. What did you learn about him?

A: Doesn't bite his tongue for anybody. Gonna say what he wants to say. If you don't like it, then the hell with you.

Q: Are you like that, too?

A: I observe, just watch everything that goes on. If I feel something needs to be said, then I'm gonna say it. Always been like that.

Q: Three dinner guests?

A: Rosario Dawson, Serena Williams, Jeremy Shockey.

Q: One person in history you'd like to meet?

A: Samuel L. Jackson.

Q: Best piece of advice from your mother?

A: Nobody will ever stop the sun from shining.

Q: Describe your mother.

A: My role model. I'm only like half the person my mother was. She was that good of a person.

Q: Favorite childhood memory?

A: When I got my first pair of Reeboks.

Q: How old were you?

A: About 10.

Q: How much did they cost?

A: They were like $50. That was a lot back then.

Q: Sports idol growing up?

A: I wanted to be like Walter Payton. He played so hard, just defied the odds what everybody thought that guy was capable of doing.

Q: Favorite athlete outside of football?

A: Kevin Garnett.

Q: You were also a free safety in high school. Could you have played it in the NFL?

A: I can right now. I'm a wide receiver so I know what to look for.

Q: Ever tell any of your pro coaches that?

A: They'd probably think I'm crazy, or on painkillers.

Q: The Jets used Keyshawn Johnson in their Hail Mary defense.

A: I did that in Pittsburgh.

Q: Are you going to do it here?

A: I don't know. I believe I can play on first down, second down, third down and fourth down.

Q: You were a pretty good basketball player.

A: A shooting guard.

Q: Did you have offers?

A: North Carolina, Kansas, Wisconsin, Clemson, Florida ...

Q: Why did you pursue football?

A: It came more naturally to me. I remember nights when I would go like 1-for-10 from the field. Very frustrating.

Q: Compare Coach Coughlin with Cadillac Harris.

A: My high school coach let the older guys pretty much run the team. If the young guys didn't really respect the work ethic of the older guys, they would probably be out of there.

Q: And how does that compare with Coach Coughlin?

A: We're little foot soldiers around here.

Q: How does Coach Coughlin compare with Coach Cowher?

A: They coach football.

Q: Favorite movie?

A: "Shawshank Redemption."

Q: Favorite actor?

A: Colin Farrell.

Q: Favorite actress?

A: Halle Berry.

Q: Favorite meal?

A: Turkey omelet with green peppers, red peppers, onions and strawberry Belgian waffles.

Q: Where do you get that?

A: My wife makes it for me.

Q: Superstitions?

A: I eat grilled salmon and white rice every Saturday night before the game.

You can smell the ego, even off the text. Not a bad thing, but I aslo think he comes out sounding like a semi-a$$hole on a couple answers.

i love his attitude, hes pissed at the other 31 teams in the NFL and he just wants to prove how good he is, cant argue with that. I like how he took care of the Ravens, impressive stuff. He is right about him never being in a Randy Moss offense, hopefully hell live up to his substantial potential here.
