Yeah - and you've seen so much of Crayton - Crayton is 6 1 - 200 plus pounds...Price is 5 '10' under 2 Bills... Price has had big seasons - Crayton is an unknown... Price will push an aging Keyshawn - not Pat Crayton.... Cowboys top WR options were both over 30 - now they have 3 under 30..throw in the fastest rising TE in the NFL in Jason Witten....along with JJ ....and their Offense has rounded out nicely.....If they go 3 WR's and you double Price or Key...someone is gonna wide open...... |

You double Price or Johnson? No, not really. And yeah I have seen Crayton, he's got some nice potential, but he went to a small school (didnt get the best coaching and competition) and needs time (and reps to develop) He's probably just as much of a burner as Price is. Thats why its not a great move....not at 2 mil. The better move they made was getting Scott Fujita for a 6th rd pick. Experienced 3-4 LB to fit into their new scheme. If you wanna overate Peerless Price like you did Quincy Carter (McNabb? haha!) than thats your business. |

Ok - you've never seen Crayton then...he's not a burner..he's a crossing route over the middle guy who I agree does have top potential.. I'm not saying Price is Michael Irvin...what he does do though...is stretch the field..keeps the Safeties honest....and lets JJ run against a 7 man front....like Emmitt did... Do not under-rate Price....you don;t make 94 Catched by accident....He can get behind you and burn you....he played with a clown QB in Atlanta....In the 3 WR set...if you play Price 1 on 1 ...Bledsoe will audible deep nearly every time...Price has blazing speed..and has the gift of seperation. If you do double - then it's Witten on an LB or a S ...and that's a field day. |

Crayton is not a possesion WR, cause im seen him get down field on a go route. I shouldve had a deep ball vs the Seahwaks had Bledsoe not f*cked up and stat sheet says he had 3 for 63 in the last game whoever they played. He can get downfield. Price caught 90+ passes bc/ he started opposite Eric Moulds with a pro bowl tailback in the backfield. Im not overating him. He's a speed WR with inconsistent hands. That wont change no matter how bad Mike Vick is. How about playing a man under, that solves your Peerless "pro bowler" Price problem. DB on Witten with safety help. DB on Price with safety help. Man outside on KJ and Glenn and minimum protection for Bledsoe. Or a Cover 3. Try stretching the field on that. Price and Witten will only be on the field in 4-wide sets. The defense wont have a run coverage. Its not worth it to pay a pure burner slot WR 2 mil. |

Doug try and have a normal conversation without making a **** of yourself for once....to which is why most people think you're an ass on this board... - I never said PPrice was gonna be a Pro Bowler - I never said he'd make 94 catches...I said he had in the past - Quincy Carter was and is a bag of sh!t....but he lit your team up and broke your hearts...I shoved it up your asses...gleefully and mocked you for losing to a guy who had Gold Caps on his teeth....And you got sucked in. - PPrice will not play the slot, as of now it most likely will be Glenn... - The defenses you mentioned will never be played against a RB w/ JJ's speed...maybe a play or two on 2nd and long....but not regularly. - Price is an excellent signing for "Dallas" b/c A) They have a Screaming need for Speed at the WR position B) Bledsoe was his QB in his huge year C) He can get deep...we haven't had a deep guy since Galloway and he was never healthy - before that it was Alvin Harper. D) The Cowboys are 7mill below the CAP , they're in top 5 Best Cap position - this was a doable ONE YEAR deal E) Price is on a 1 year deal looking to Cash in next season - always good to have a guy playing for his money. My realistic hope : 50 - 60 Catches - You can't predict yards or TD's. But I think that is a realistc hope ; with a few of them over 25 yards. |

I'm between Doug and Kocur, but closer to K on this one. I don't think Price will have a big season, but he'll definitely help that offense. If all works out, he'll push Glenn to the slot, where he's best suited - run him on intermediate routes. I don't think he'll draw double coverage, but it gives them a guy who can stretch the field and get open underneath. He doesn't have blazing speed, but he's got enough + quickness and agility. He can turn a 5 yard hitch into a 60 yard run. Jason Witten will probably still catch the most passes though. I agree with Koc's A-E points. He can get 60 receptions for them and make some things happen. That's needed cuz Cowboys fans probably fell asleep watching Keyshawn take turkey time to run all them 15 yard ins.
Eh-eh. I don't read the Mets board so I don't know, but any Giants who is literate respects him. He knows his sh*t and is the most knowledgeable college football fan here. |

I just dont think he does that much for the offense. More so bc/ Keyshawn is what Hilliard was a few years ago. Even if he starts (I heard slot but could change).....If Witten is on the same side they can roll coverage. Opposite side then play cover 3 or 2-deep. I dont think it does that much to stretch the offense. And its not bc/ its the Cowboys. If the Giants had Hilliard-Toomer-Taylor as a top 3 (most equivalent to KJ-Glenn-Price) I wouldnt be happy if they spent 2 Mil to replace Taylor. Atleast not too happy. It makes the offense better, but not too much. |

Keyshawn is gonna be the Z and I'd put Price at the X. If its like that then Witten is on the same side as Johnson. He can stretch the field, but I don't think that's the type of offense they will or should be running. I think he's a good possession man. The 8 yard hitch dude who can take it far. Ball control and pound it with Julius and A-Train. Mostly, he's there to give Bledsoe a quick target so zone plays into that. And Glenn is coming off a foot injury (broken?) so Price also provides insurance.
Glenn has more speed than Hilliard and Toomer on his busted hamstring could beat Keyshawn in a race. And like Kocur said, they're not tied into him or handcuffed by the deal. They have the cap room for right now and its not as if they've committed to him long term. Its $2M for just the one season. |

Id expect them to move Witten around a little bit....and I meant Toomer with the broken hammy. 2 million is 2 million though, doesnt seem all that neccessary when you got guys like Hugh Douglas, Chris Cash, Nate Wayne, Ashley Ambrose, Alonzo Jackson and Kevin Garrett getting cut |

I like the move for Dallas...Him in the slot would be ideal for him and Bledsoe. He can stretch defenses as Kocur said and when Terry Glenn gets his usual injury he can be a solid #2 wideout... Stop hating on Keyshawn, he is the f*cking man. |
