Making us use more guys in the pen because of his ineptitude. He didn't get the job done...you've probably heard that phrase in the bedroom. :smirk:

That implies he's been in a bedroom with another person.
Quite simply, that's a concession i'm not prepared to make.
And I love how he defends Sturtze every time he gives up a HR:
Today it was a HR in a 9-run game, but there's also:
--Torre overused him --The start against Baltimore ruined him --It was slightly overcast and Sturtze couldn't see well --473 was a bit too aggressive with Tanyon in the sack and he couldn't push off the mound
The point is this, Tanyon has been totally unreliable for months. Everybody is tired, its almost September, so he's either got to man-up and start doing the job or they have to find someone who can.

Who the f*ck does he want out there then? Embree? F-Rod? Maybe if his butt buddy Cashman went out and got a legit reliever we wouldn't be in this mess.

No what Brovah 473 is trying to say is that if we had one more reliable arm Sturtze wouldn't be overused like he was earlier in the year. He's gotten a rest lately over the last couple of weeks with how long the starters have been going. Just think back to last year when Gordon, Q and Mo were all spent, they got burnt the f*ck out. Currently Gordon has a dead arm and Sturtze is still some what new to all this work everyday out of the pen and you can be he's feeling the effects. Let's hope the starters keep going into the 7th inning and later giving this pen a much neede rest!!!! Unfortunately we are forced to hope this since all Cashman does is bring in lesbian after lesbian to try and get a 4th reliable arm out of the pen.

So what team in the pennant race HAS been able to acquire a steady reliever?
You guys all lick Theo Epstein's taint, but he's been doing patchwork with his bullpen too because there is simply nobody out there.
But I guess its Cashman's fault. Whatever.

The Braves getting Farnsworth.
John Schuerholz's tie costs more than Cashman's life.
