I'm not going to get on him too much because he hasn't pitched in 10 days, but he HAD to hold the Royals at 5 and he didn't get it done. Very bad effort today. :no1:

Agreed! I can't get on a guys case that has been rotting on the bench for more than a week.

Small needs to go into the rotation and Leiter to the pen. Even Leiter seems to agree, as he told Torre that he could help in the pen.

I agreed with that line of thinking a couple of weeks ago, but I want to see if Leiter could give the Yankees another strong start or two first. If you give Leiter tomorrow and one more start, Wright at least one more start, then you could keep the two of them in there longer if they pitch well, or you replace the struggling one with Small.
