Lawton is now a Yankee 16 years after his brother was.

Yeah, but funnily enough, baseball-reference.com seems to think they are the same person because they have Marcus being the Lawton traded for Arthur Rhodes this offseason. Do you realize Matt has now been traded 3 times in the last 8 months?

(Cleveland to Pittsburgh to Chicago (NL) to New York (AL))

Na, Womack, Sheffield, and Gordon (maybe Chacon) aren't dark enough. Captain's a halfie. They found Lawton in Nigeria, wrestling a rhino.

im on a slow computer that doesnt always operate on google. can somehow just show me lawtons strikeout totals? he always looked silly against us. i was wondering if he k'ed as much as it seemed.

the on base impresses me a lot though. i would love that at the top or bottom of the order. it makes the lineup just that much better.

after constant refreshing the pages, it looks as if lawton does not k as much as i feared. all the better

He's struck out 69 times and walked 62. Hitting .287 against righties and .219 vs. lefties.

I think he walked once today and struck out.

remember him with the twins? rarely did the guy have a good at-bat. maybe im thinking of jacque jones. dont call me racist strider, i seriously cant distinguish the two. both left-handed outfielders that played on the twins.

RACIST! Jacque Jones and him might have similar stances, but Jones is 8 shades lighter and their jersey numbers were never even close. :please:

I remember him with the Twins but I don't remember how well he did against us. He's hit .224 against the Yankees since 2002. But .280 in Yankees Stadium. That's the only tangible I've got.

lawtons stats against the yankees, for a 250 ab sample, are as horrid as i can see. none of the stats he has are impressive. he doesnt even have an on base at .300 or a bunch of homers, 5 in 249 abs.

Good thing he doesn't have to face the Yankees.

Probably close to milk. Not dark chocolate, but not caramel.
