You gotta love the Bernie moment. He's on the fast ball like a heat seeking missile. That last pitch had movement up, high and hard and Bernie still smashed it. Congrats Bernie. :clap: :clap: :clap:

I thought the VC declared him done? Don't say only defensively, I mean with the bat. I was laughed at for thinking he could still be a valuable part of the lineup.

:please: I never said he was done at the plate. I have consistently said he was done as an starting CF. He's still got something left offensively. However I do hope he goes out with class by retiring at the end of the year. :peace:

He's been called "done" in every capacity you can imagine. Maybe not you, but MANY VC members have asked for him to be shot out of a cannon or run out of town on a log.

You may want to consult VC higher-ups for the official company line on Bernie.
