Joe is just too protective of these guys. With 2 outs I believe in the 4th and Jeter singles to right. Matsui up. I was expecting Jeter to steal the bag. Matsui's hit would have brought him in. Play f*cking baseball and try to win these damn games will you? This could have been the start of something and could have changed the whole mentality of the game itself. You gotta show us fans that you will try and score some runs. :furious2: |

I've been asking that question since June. Jeter's on pace for the fewest stolen bases (in a full season) in 6 years. First basemen might as well treat him like Giambi and play behind the bag. And he's the leadoff hitter too. |
