Exhilarating to say the least, what a fecking game!

Oaktown LOST as well....those pesky Indians won, but alone in 1st (for the WC) by % points!

I was living and dying on every f*cking pitch and moment of that game! Down 2-0....Towers cruising.....get one back but Sheff leaves one at 3rd with less then 2 out. Get another back in the 8th...give it RIGHT back in the 9th on a 2 out rbi single, second two out rbi hit of the game for them! CRAZY GAME! But the outcome was well worth it!

Some clutch performances is tonight. Leiter had a big game. As sick as it sounds, right now I trust him MORE than that big soft pansy RJ. Matsui is clutch plain and simple. Outside of Ortiz there isn't another guy I'd want up there in a big spot.

Yeah, I have to agree. RJ has been pretty pathetic this year, and that's being nice.

Heh Vinnie. Joe's plan has been to back up Leiter with Small. I think it's time to chance that strategy. The small guy backing up the big bird. :D

It's a shame Jeter is part of the problem rather than the solution...

just think of this from a toronto bluejay perspective. you have this completely undisciplined hitter down 2 strikes in the count and you throw a pitch over the middle of the plate. id be steeming. escalona is not a pesky hitter. you can see that already.

I thought for sure he was gonna strikeout. He swings at the first pitch and I was gonna call him a mother f*cker for taking the 2nd one, but I thought, "He'd have probably missed it anyway. Might as well just hope for a lucky call." Then he comes through.
