Posada

:laugh1:

This is tough to say this year but I'd rather have JETER with 2 outs in the 9th and the game on the line then that big eared freak up in the clutch!!!!!

yuppers. what hurts though is after those 3, you take a considerable step backward with the hitters. guys like posada, jeter, bernie, cano, and giambi can be rally killers. my boy cano is due to heat up real soon though. his slump has went on enough.

If we're speaking strictly Yankees, obviously Matsui first, then either Sheff or A-Rod. If we're talking all of baseball, Ortiz tops the list.

i can agree with that, since thats what it was last year, save bonds.

lets give tejada, vlad, and pujols some props though. i dont think they really raise their game like ortiz and matsui do.

The most intimidating to me up there of just Yankee opponents are

1. Vlad
2. Ortiz
3. Manny

I think Vlad hit about .900 over the last 3 weeks last year.

yep, he did. your point? are you misreading into what im saying. vlad is one of my top 3 favorite players. id never blast him. hes always a great hitter. ortiz and matsui are automatics almost in a really defining situation. you can get vlad out in a big spot. hes pretty much the same hitter every ab, and thats a very damn good one.

thats what i mean. vlad isnt going deep there most of the time. matsui raises his sh*t up to a whole level above, jordan style. yeah baby
