4 Games vs Tor, 3 vs KC & 3 vs Sea.
Anything less than 7-3 vs these clubs = no playoffs.
8-2 would be better, but with this bunch i'll settle for 7-3.
The Yanks better hope that Moose, Chacon & Jaret Wright come through, because we all know that worthless piece of sh!t, Big Pussy ain't doing dick to help this team.

By the way, i was laid up for a month w/ a busted leg (no computer @ home).
Thanks for noticing that i haven't been around, doushbags! :fyou1:

At this point, I don't even care. There's too many "ifs" that keep getting pushed back and its at that point where we have to accept it. Are we gonna wait until tomorrow till its next month? If Randy Johnson can be himself....or even be consistent. If Mike Mussina can more consistent. If Jaret Wright can hold up physically and pitch like he did in 2004. If this offense can get going again and come through with more hits w/ RISP and get it done in the clutch. If Posada can get hot and turn his season around. I've had enough of that. Even if those ifs work out and they get hot for 2 weeks and get into the playoffs, I have no confidence in this team to go anywhere. Sometimes its better to be terrible than mediocre. If they're gonna suck, go all the way. Be the scorn of the big apple. Be an absolute $208M embarassment. If nothing else, that forces the organization to make as many changes as possible. If they get hot and make it, people might (maybe) get to thinking that it wasn't that bad and a little tweak here, a bandaid there, and some consistency, they can be great. I don't want that and I don't want to continue the tease. I've given up on the season. Not that I'm gonna stop watching or being interested, but I've curbed my emotions. I'm not getting excited over a win streak and I'm not getting worked up over a bad loss. To me, right now, it doesn't matter. This team won't get anything accomplished anyway.

btw - I missed you. I was 2 days away from trying to get your avatar printed on milk boxes and having ABC run a "missing children" ad for you.

What happened to the leg?

Nice to see you back LT.

As for this team, I honestly wouldn't even be confident about us making the playoffs if we go 10-0 over the next 10 games because with this bunch it's very posssible they'd follow it up by going 2-8 over the following 10 games. Just too much inconsistency. I'm hopeful that we find a way to pull this off, but even if we do get in, it's an early first round exit, especially since that Big f*cking c u n t can't do sh*t. :fyou: :furious2:

If we go 10-0, I'll bungee jump off the GWB...I'll be ecstatic if this team can go 7-3.

7-3 is realistic expectations, though 6-4, 5-5 is more likely to happen. I was just throwing 10-0 out there to make a point that I don't think we can really judge this team on any of their remaining games. Better to just take it day by day and hope for the best.

What happened to the leg?

I was hit by a car, could have been much worse.
The fu<ked up part is, that i wasn't drunk when it happened! :annoyed:

I think even if the Yanks make it & face Chicago in a five game series & win that, they'll have to face the Bosux-Angels winner, & imo both those teams would beat the Yankees.

Hey, after all the frustration & BS this team has put me through, i'll take making the playoffs & getting knocked again than not making it at all.
I don't want to hear all the doushbag Mut & Sux fans talking sh!t.

Thanks dude.
Not being able to walk for 3 weeks was driving me crazy.
I'm a pretty active guy & sitting home & not able to work really blowed.
I went to the bar a few times when i was on crutches, it was a pain in the ass!
Getting sympathy from the ladies was cool, but drunken fools bumping into my leg almost led to me cracking them upside the skull w/ my crutch!
This past month really made me feel grateful to have me leg back to almost normal.
I couldn't imagine being disabled for the rest of my life.
The first thing i did when my leg was better was take a long walk on the shore.
Man that felt great!

By the way, hope your knee gets better soon!

OUCH, hate to there that bro, good to see you back LT!!!!!

I'll take 7-3 but man, how nice would 8 or 9 wins be!!!!!! With that being said, if we get 8 that would mean that we are 16-5 over the last 21 games, that would be quite nice!!!!

Wow, how did that happen? Sorry to hear about it. Not only does this place need you around (especially to post pics of 473 eating crow), but it needs more new blood too, so get some people from other boards here too. Glad to hear you're doing better.
