This guy has been great as a pinch-hitter. I hope he stays on the roster all season. |

:puke: I hear rumours that Anderson Hernandez is about to be called up, if/when he is, then Offerman will most likely be sent down or realeased |

Say goodbye to Gerald Williams. Woodward, Anderson can play the OF as well as he can. Williams can't pinch-hit. Offerman can. |

Offerman has no upside. If Offerman produces like he has, we might as well keep him. But if he cools down, get someone else up here. Williams has no upside either. G.Williams looks like a good clubhouse guy, but he's sh!t as a player. The Mets should make him a coach if they like him that much. |

If there's anyone better than Offmen who's young, dump offerman. But pinch-hitters are hard to come by. |

Didn't you say that role-players are all replaceable at the beginning of the year? Offerman was released by the Phillies. I think the Mets will also release him if he starts to stop getting the job done. Valent didn't get the job done this year, but he was injured and not given many opportunities. He's hitting well in Norfolk now. I'd like to see him back up here in place of Williams. |

They are. If someone better than Offerman is available, jump on that guy and sacrifice Offerman on the altar. But pinch-hitting is difficult, and it's not likely that a better guy will come along this season. Though I would be somewhat annoyed if offerman is retained the way Williams was after this season. |

What I have heard (And forsee happening) is Hernandez will get called up as well as Diaz, in that event Offerman and Williams would get cut. Anderson could be the 4th OF and Diaz could still play it on occasion |
