I know about the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry very well, But when it comes to baseball fans in New York and Boston, They pretty much hate each other. And I'm thinking the Mets are also well hated in Boston besides the Yankees. We might have seen the Mets battle the BoSox a couple of times in the past, and if we see those two face each other again, It would be the second greatest machup since the Yankees/Red Sox fued. Do you guys think so? |

I think as long as the games were shown on a Comcast owned station, it would be one hell of a series, as King Juan2k would say. |

When dealing with the Red Sox and Mets the phrase, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend", I dont hate the Red Sox, because the Red Sox hate the Yankees (I do hate Red Sox fans though, those arrogant bastards). A Red Sox/Mets rivalry would never reach ANYWHERE near the same magnitude of the Red Sox/Yankees |

The Yankees/Redsox feud goes back to the sale of Babe Ruth. They play in the same division and fight each other all season long. Then they meet in the playoffs and it is another dog fight. The only thing that may have been like it in New York was the Dodger/Giants dog fights. What rivalry do the Mets have with the Sox? They met one year in the WS. If that’s the case the Yankees should have a rivalry with the Marlins. Met fans think of the Braves and before that it was the St. Louis Cardinals and before that the Chicago Cubs, but not the Bosox. |

i dont hate the sox, i like a lot of their players and rooted for them last year as many other met fans did. I was however recently turned off by the stupidity of their fans (the BAS bostonboys arent nearly as bad as others). So now i dont find myself caring how they do, especially now that we have pedro. |
