ARod is no longer a poolboy. I'm sure the entire VC would agree with me on this.

Doesn't it seem like every homerun he hits now is big?

This is the ARod we traded for!

If we had 2005 A-Rod last year, we would've won the WS for sure. Better late than never, I guess. I just hope the big hits keep on coming.

Who says we would've won the World Series? (1) He's doing it in the regular season right now. Its not the 2005 playoffs yet. We don't know how he'll perform then or if this team will make it. (2) He didn't cost us the ALCS. It was a team effort. Even if he had been producing in games 4-7, it doesn't stop Gordon and Rivera for pissing themselves, Brown and Vazquez from pitching like Brown and Vazquez, and the rest of this offense from hitting like they did against the Marlins. (3) Just because the Cardinals rolled over for the Red Sox doesn't mean it would've happened for us. You should know that this team isn't that lucky. I could see that offense putting someone on us, like the '02 Angels.

All excellent points, especially the first one. I say we won't make the playoffs this year, so we won't know what kind of postseason he'd have.

A-Rod actually had a pretty good postseason, till games 4-7 came along. No one seems to remember that he won game 2 of the ALDS for us.

I ain't forget. Going on memory, I think he hit .400 against the Twins.

Did a helluva lot more in the playoffs than Captain. But they forgot about that.
