I'd like this guy in the future as the 4th OF

I think he could bring a Chad Curtis type player to the team. Not Curtis' emotions, but rather that he is the perfect 4th outfielder. Tucker is the kind of guy, as Curtis, who could start if needed. His perfect role is about 350 at bats with mid teens homeruns and solid D from the corner spots in the outfield, plus can play centerfield, as well. He's 34 now, so I would want this to happen this offseason at the latest before he's washed up. This isn't a big move, but it is the type of role player the Yankees could use, and he provides depth.

I hadn't even thought about getting this guy, but it's not a bad option, providing they don't have a crazy asking price for him.

What's his contract status? I was hoping he was a free agent. I watch a lot of west coast baseball since it's my first year with Extra Innings. He had a good game tonight.

I'd rather give Kevin Thompson a shot at it.

looked up tuckers stats. he a decent obp guy. strikesout a little too much for guy with limited power but everyone does nowadays. he made the braves not regret trading jermaine dye for a little seasons ago. if he could play cf effectively, he could be a cheap alternative to anyone that would cost prospects right now. i wouldnt want him for much longer though. there are better util ofs.
