You guys know all the ins and outs of signing players and all. I was wondering if the Yankees can sign someone now from outside the U.S.A. Majors or Minors? |

I'm not only suggesting Japan, but I do know for sure is there are plenty of good pitchers as semi-pro's that play for major companies, such as Sanyo and Mitsubishi and their next step up is the Japanese Majors. I'd have someone make a call ASAP. Maybe Vallentine could recommend a few. |

Semi-pros whose next step is the Japanese majors? Are you talking to stowe away in the minors or to help the Yankees immediately? I hope the former. |
