Why didn't Kay mention Seabol is a former buddy in all of the praise he was handing him after the HR?

For that matter, he didn't mention Al Reyes is a former buddy either.

Why doesn't he mention Torre is an idiot for taking out a starter who isn't even at 100 pitches?

6 innings, 1 run with 92 or 93 pitches and he takes him out. We are paying this guy to be a #2-#3 starter, let him start the 7th!

I agree with Rob, WAY too early to pull Pavano, he was f*cking cruising!!!! Got in some trouble, but got out of it! Why did he take him out? :wall:

Pavano should have been kept in, if only because Gordon is unavailable today and Mo went more than an inning yesterday. If the pen is short, stick with your starter as long as possible, especially when he is cruising.

Reyes was pretty good with us. They released him for no reason to make room for God knows who.

Exactly, certain guys get released for no reason. Reyes was better than other options that season.

Hey, Kay just remembered that Seabol is a former Yankee and even mentioned he had one at bat with them in 2001! I guess John Moore whispered it in his headphones. Scooter would have called him a huckleberry after getting the info.

Big, lifelong Yankee fan Mike Francesa doesn't remember Scott Seabol ever being a Yankee. He admitted it. It's one thing not to remember the one at bat he had in 2001, but he was in their system for years. I guess not every Yankee fan would remember him though. We're all sick bastards for knowing as much as we do.

Francesca remembers every meal from 2001 though. :smirk:
