Nah if he didn't show up today we all would have killed him. He did show up big, he threw hard and won. Good outing. |

Its true. He wasn't facing the Orioles or Red Sox or even the Cardinals' best lineup. Very good performance, but don't get giddy. |

Please, he got smacked around by the Royals. The Cards lineup had 2 lefties that don't hit and in the case of Walker, are intimidated by him. I'm not giddy as in now we'll win 20 in a row, but I'm damn happy about see a fastball cosistently clocked at 97, an excellent defensive game, and clutch hitting. And to quote my man CM, blow me. :peace: |

With the talent on this team, its a damn shame that we're happy to see good play. And looking at the big picture, that there keeps me from being happy. As I said during the 16-2 run: I'm not impressed. Blow yourself. |

The only way anyone should have any hope out of this team is when they win scoring 3 runs, or less. |

Posted Image Roy Williams - Toomer gets bitched #2 That a-hole is a cheap-shotter though. He isn't the playmaker he was in his rookie season and he hits people late all the time. Loved it when he got herbed in pre-season by Chris Brown. |
