No, Clark. His choke job in the ALCS was all I needed to see. |

He and Olerud both pissed me off in the ALCS. Olerud for sitting like a bitch with that "bruised instep" (still haven't gotten over how pathetic that was) and Clark because he just disgusting at the plate. His atbat to end game six truly sickened me. I'm thrilled that he's no longer a Yankee. |

Yeah, how dare a guy, who needed foot surgery to repair ligaments and was on crutches for 2-3 months, sit out? |

This is one area we disagree on big time! TC was as cool as they come. We know he's an all or nothing hitter! PERIOD. Shall we forget the extra inning Game 5? If not for a short wall and high bounce he might have had the game winning RBI. Sure, we all remember his strike out in Game 6 to end things, but you know what, I've said many times there are SO many others to blame for that series loss, Clark is NOT one of them. Get the hell over it! |

Exactly. You're blaming the guy who was essentially the 4th string first baseman for the ALCS loss? The first base combo was supposed to be Giambi and Lee. Both were hurt, so Clark played more than he was supposed to. Olerud came in and took at bats from Clark, then got hurt in the ALCS, which was more serious than people like Yanksfan03 like to think, so Clark was forced to play. You knew he was an all or nothing hitter. It's actually amazing he hasn't been one this year. He's cut WAY down on his Ks this year, but odds are the Ks will be back since he's always struck out a ton. Bottomline, he's best being an NL player at this point in his career so he could pinch hit almost every game. |

You also can't choke when you're not that good. There were many guys ahead of him in line for bad play. TC is a dude. |

If football players can play with broken ankles, then John Olerud can play baseball with a bruised instep. |

Olerud is a sissy. If he's in there and not Clark we win, no doubt. He probably faked his injury so he could play with the Sox this year. |

I agree. Tony wasn't a starter in the first place and we had no reason to expect anything of him. I blame the real chokers. And you know who them be. |
