If there is such a thing as a Zman at the plate it is Jose Reyes. Reyes seems to have no idea of the mechanics of hitting. It is I see the ball, I swing the bat. There are times his rear end go one way, his legs somewhere else, his head physically is moving, but mentally it is up his ass, and he throws the bat at the ball. The thing in his favor is that he is young and the times he gets his mechanics right he can hit. |
