Wright needs to go out and pitch a good game at Fenway against Schilling or he's a Soft L 4 LIFE and he's finished in my and the Bands' eyes.

Watch out for those guys that have great years under Leo Mazzone. They don't seem to be able to reproduce it elsewhere.

RJ has a great track record, so I'll give him a little more slack. Though I have to admit I am concerned about the velocity of his pitches.

Wright's track record suggests he's just a useless piece of sh*t. Should've given Lieber his $8 million! :wall:

Wright will pull a Schilling and start crying in the dugout after this ass-raping on Wednesday.

In Jaret's Wright 1st start I think he was way too pumped up to pitch. ST and the regular season are totally different. He was great in ST and you hoped that it would carry over into his 1st start, but that changed rather quickly against the O's!! Today all eyes will be on Schilling and we owe him a beating!! He beat us in game 6 last year and has talked way too much smack all winter long!! I'm tired of seeing and listening to that fool! :fyou: He hasn't pitched much during ST so maybe not getting in enough work could work against him. Then again he could be in vintage Schilling form. The Yankees have got to get on him early. Wright will NOT have all the attention that Schilling will be receiving and it will be at Fenway Pahk not Yankee Stadium so hopefully he could focus and pitch like he did in ST. The key for him will be hitting his spots and you can say the same for Schilling. The only thing is that Schilling has filthier stuff than Wright does and throws much harder. Then again Schilling is coming off surgery and it's his first start of the year. Mr. Wright now your's chance to earn your pinstripes!! May the force be with you!!

:please: It's hopeless. There's no chance Wright beats Schilling. The final 8-1 :doh1:

We owe Schilling an asswhooping. I'd like to see us score 6 runs and knock him out by the third inning.

(That's probably wishful thinking though. <_< )

Got himself into jams, got himself out of jams, had pretty much no control at all...But with all that, only 2 runs  Average start, but hopefully bodes some confidence for his next start...

Nice job by Jaret "Fat" Wright. He was fine. His control seems off, hopefully that's because the season is young. When he gets ahead of batters he's great. When he falls behind he gets in trouble, that's what happened his first start, that's what happened in his 1 bad inning today.

Overall, you can't ask for too much more when your #4/#5 starter goes out against the other teams ace and you win. :agent:
