It's time for the Giambi at 1st Base experiment to end...NOW. He's hurting the team, literally. I wouldn't blame Pavano for punching him in the face, or at least pinging him in the head with a fastball. We know Tino can't do it on every day basis any more, and the same goes for Bernie. Set up a rotation and keep Giambi the f*ck out of the field. We know Sierra can't play LF either, so you'll have to use Bubba more. 1B Tino DH Sierra or Giambi CF Bernie 1B Tino DH Sierra or Giambi or Bernie CF Bubba Stop making me defend you so much. And when Bubba's in the lineup, put Womack in the leadoff spot. A guy with 40 HR, 140 RBI potential should not be batting 2nd...capeche? |

Today's lineup Joe.. Jeter's hitting .333 against Wakefield and Tino's at .325. Sit Sierra today. He's 1-13 against him. Hell, Straw was 6-20. See if you can get him for the day. I know you're not moving Womack, so move Bernie to the #2 spot today. Yeah, you heard me right. He's only hitting .233 against him, but has 11 walks. Or bat Bernie leadoff and put Jeter 2nd. Put A-Rod in the damn RBI spot. Listen to me!! :furious: |

Note to the immature posters: That's how you post your thoughts on moves without sounding like a little kid and without using terms that have nothing to do with baseball. MM, agreed. |

people can post their displeasures in whatever matter they deem necessary is my personal opinion. i think it actually brings humor when instead of just serious complaints, theres some comedic aspect to the serious complaints. |

Agreed. People like M23 are too immature to realize that not everybody will react the same way. He takes losses like it's no big deal, now I'm not saying Matty likes to see the Yankees lose, but it just seems to me that they don't bother him that much. I on the other hand take these losses very seriously, and I get very pissed off when I see millionaires go out there and act like they don't give a damn? Is calling somebody a "Soft L" immature? I guess so, but at the same time, the jackasses are being paid so much, I'm going to react when I see sh*t I don't like and it's not always going to be the same reaction other people will have. |

I'm not sure if you're talking about Soft Lesbians or hamburgers/hobos. Please fill me in. Because I know I already explained the analogy. And it shouldn't matter how people vent. If 03 wants to call Joe an a-hole, it doesn't matter. If I want to call Mussina a heterosexual f@g or a Sissy Care Bear, it doesn't matter. MM, just stop defending him. |

He's still a good manager no matter what you yo-yos think. He's not the one who just made the error at third or misplayed the ball in right or has pitched like sh*t all day. |

I'm not saying that Joe is THE problem. You're talking to me, fella. I know that this team has much bigger problems than the manager. Plus, of all the "head coaches", a manager probably has the least effect on the game. But it doesn't mean I can't get on his ass for f*cking up. I'll even go as far as saying that Joe's job is easy. All that "Daaah, managing the clubhouse...egos...finger on the pulse" sh*t is overrated because how many real azzholes are on this team? How many junkies (I'll even let you count Giambi for this one), dirtbags, and incorigible pieces of sh*t are on this roster? He had a problem with Ruben back then. Ruben was gone. He had a problem with Mondesi and they got rid of him. He's not a damn prison psychologist here. He just chills, keeps an even temper, drinks his green tea, and let's the good guys in the clubhouse be the good guys. In the situation he's in (with a group of good dudes, veterans, and the most talented roster), his biggest job is to manage the game. Don't chuck that aside and tell me about "demeanor and yada" because I already shot that down. How well does Joe manage the game? Not well enough. ^ Tell me otherwise, MM. Tell me otherwise. An argumentative loudmouth with a good point is a dangerous man. Tell me otherwise, MM! :smirk: |

You can't manage game well when you're sleeping. Well, he wakes up from time to time to get a cup of green tea or grab a peach pit to suck on. But even when he's awake he's clearly not watching the game. Fire him. I don't care how irrational I may be being right now either. Or how stupid I may sound. I am steamed. :furious: |

I'm immature? Read your posts, buddy. Then read mine, and get back to me. I don't care about losing? Actually I am superf*ckingpissed, as Mr. White would say. I do understand that even the best teams in baseball lose 60 games a year, but I can't take losses like this. You don't understand why your "favorite" team loses a game. That's the difference. I'd say we're probably both just as pissed as the other one right now, but you're a drama queen, and I am not. |

I won't freak out if we're outplayed. My problem is when you show a complete lack of heart. Like the Yankees have in all 4 losses this season so far. That's why I get pissed and use terms like "Soft L." |

Not a bad idea. A-Rod should NOT be in the two hole. The problem is that he hasn't been HOT enough to convince Torre to bat him down in the lineup. I think he should be batting 5th. Williams should be in the two spot, but he's NOT hitting either. The problem is that we have too many guys that are cleanup or #3 hitters in the lineup. Matsui, A-Rod, Giambi, Sheffield, and Posada could all be a cleanup or the #3 hitter in this lineup. What happens is they end up swinging for the fenses and either strike out or fly out time and time again!! I think others on this team need to get on base so that the big bats could do some damage. Right now this lineup has got to start clicking, because right now they clearly are NOT!! As for Giambi his defense is killing the Yankees. Pavano was given his first loss because of Giambi's error. Tino should play first most of the time and Giambi and Sierra should switch on and off as DH. |

Sucking coİk doesn't make you gay. It just means you're a man of your word when it comes to dares. But not liking booty (I'm a titty man, myself), that makes you sweet. |

:please: Strizzle. Joe doesn't manage the game as well as he used to. I don't want to hear YF's sh*t about how anyone could win those titles -- that's bullsh*t. He made some huge mistakes last year and it cost us. He has to stop leaning so much on certain players that were either never up to it (Giambi) or don't quite have it so much any more. |

I understood you. Unless you were born before 1960, not liking "badoonkadunks" makes you gay. You're supposed (according to the guidebook) like big knockers, thin waiste, and big ass. MM might remember this - "The Coke bottle figure". In the words of Sir Mix-a-lot (he was Knighted by the Queen) - "Little in the middle, but she's got much back."
You're knocking him yourself. Can you blame me for doing it? |
