From Rotoworld.com..... Carl Pavano was diagnosed with a mild concussion after being hit by a line drive today. After a trip to the hospital for a CT scan, Pavano rejoined the Yankees in time for the trip to Boston. It's not yet known whether he'll miss a start, but he shouldn't be out for long. Apr. 10 - 4:59 pm et I hope he gets over the injury quickly even if it costs him a few starts. These freaky injuries sometimes tend to linger. |

Yeah, I hope he'll be all right. That was pretty bad. I used to pitch and it's not cool when a guy smacks one right back up the middle like that. Like Strider, I was pretty surprised, to see he was still standing. That was a good sign. He's definitely no soft L, that's for sure. Also, I f*cking hate Giambi and Torre's guts for this as well. That fat f*ck shouldn't be anywhere near first base, he shouldn't even own a glove, the guy is an absolute joke. Terrible, terrible signing he has turned out to be. :fyou: :wall: |

This is very good news, his face could have been broken in a few spots after a shot like that. Let him rest and miss a start, and call up someone. I like what I've seen from him so far, he's a tough guy. |

They had a clip of him being taken into the ambulance on YES after the game and he was talking with one of the EMS workers and had looked like he was laughing about something. Good sign after taking a shot like that off your skull. CP looks like he's one tough S.O.B. Hopefully he makes a quick return. |

This is all Giambi's fault. He should let Pavano throw a free punch at him. |

EVERY time I think there is no way Giambi can screw up even worse, he does. It's f*cking amazing. |

I hope he's alright. I saw the clip of it while I was watching the Mets game. I hate to see something like that happen to a good guy like Pavano. Here's to a speedy recovery. |
