They look and play like garbage. There's so much crap on this team. We're pitching like last year and hitting like 2 years ago. The Sox are primmed to sweep us. Fenway will be up for grabs this week. The Yanks are looking at an 87 win season. Look for the the O's to finish ahead of us. They've played harder these 3 games than the Yanks have in the last 3 years. It's gonna be a long, long summer in the Bronx. |

Yup, sad but true. I wouldn't be surprised if Team Soft L is up to 25 members by the end of the Boston series. I've got two new additions coming today. :no1: |

We also should have signed Pedro. Pedro knows how to get things done. |

So far I don't see any difference between last year's team and this one. The bullpen is still pitching batting practice, they leave runners all over the bases and they swing at awful pitches at the plate. |

Definitely should've signed Pedro, and Lieber should've been brought back. Ice Cream man screwed up again. |

I love to quote myself. "Since 2000, the Yankees have been the miserable old man, trying to buy happiness. Why hate them? Unless you're cold and heartless, you should pity their misfortune." -Me I bet people thought I was being 1/2 sarcastic on that one. I had wanted Pedro but "others" said that we'd be selling out. Still, I can't kill it too much. The Mets overpaid for him. That contract will be a real bitch in 2008. Lieber > Wright. I think that was the board consensus. Brian, we're not hitting like 2 years ago. We're hitting like last year. They never stopped sucking W/ RISP. |

In 2004 we sucked w/RISP but in 2003 we were down right terrible with RISP. Not improving the offense over the offseason was a huge mistake. |

We got outplayed today by an Oriole team thats offense plays the kind of ball the Yanks used to. There is enough talent on offense that I can't see a pro-longed period where someone isn't hot, my concern is pitching as always. Johnson will come around once the weather gets warm, Mussina is as solid a #2 as there is in baseball and Pavano looks like a gamer. But the back end of the rotation is going to put alot of pressure on Sturtze and the mop up crew in Quantrill and Karsay. |

Is anyone listening to WFAN? Adam Shein (sp) said that Gammons said on BBTN that he heard from a good source that Davey Johnson is going to replace Torre. :-| |

:laugh2: That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. We're stuck with Clueless Joe because of that contract, but even so, I'd argue that Davey Johnson is almost as bad. |

Shine (f*ck his name) is one of those people I dislike, not because he's an a-hole, but because he's annoying. Steam probably comes out of my head whenever he says "nugget" and I hate how he interrupts callers and talks over them. On "I, Max" (can't believe it got cancelled), I loved it when Kellerman would pause him. The rumor is pure silliness. But 212 did say that Shine said that Gammons said. That's the root of the silliness. |

Adam Shine going to your high school = Sam Garnes going to Justin's high school. Its nothing to be proud of. |
