One of my friends who I was with loves Posada so I kept saying that he sucked. It was great. But seriously, Posada is really testing my patience. |

I think he's done a good job the last couple years on defense. No, he's not great, but he's improved. He cut down on the passed balls, he's gotten better at throwing out runners, and he's even started BLOCKING the plate. Defensively, I'd say that he's about average or a little above. My problem with Posada isn't what he does behind the plate, but at it. The "what the f*ck!?" at bats. When he chases two changeups in the dirt then takes a fastball down the middle for strike 3. When he kills rallies with double plays. When we've got a runner at 3B with 1 out and he's anxious as f*ck and chasing bad pitches, resulting in an empty AB. That's my problem with him. And its not the fact that he catches and gets worn down. Being tired and sapped of energy would slow down your bat. But that has nothing to do with chasing bad pitches (not even a good pitch with movement that fools him - just bad pitches) and taking stuff right down the middle. Don't tell me it ain't so cuz we've seen it a lot. He should be ashamed to be in the same lineup as Hideki Matsui. :no1: |

Strider, you are 100 % correct! He pisses me off to no end with that sh*t he chases. He's so up and down with the bat, he has his moments don't get me wrong, but he looks terrible a lot of the time! :wall: |

Jorge Posada <_< I'm sick and tired of those passed balls, too. It's getting ridiculous with him not blocking the plate and passed balls. :furious: What's next? A he isn't going to catch a ball and he's going to knocked out. |
