Jaret Wright is no different from Weaver and Vazquez. We just gotta pray Pavano doesn't turn into soft L's like them. Quantrill. Still soft. A-Rod is the worst player I've ever seen under pressure. He doesn't belong here. He should be traded. Last and certainly least is Bernie Williams. This guy is pathetic. I honestly think he will not get a hit untill May. I can't wait untill the Yanks have a press conference to announce his reitrement. |

Jaret Wright wears no. 33, same number Vazquez wore last year. I honestly didn't notice a difference between either of them watching the game tonight. Except maybe that Wright is a little fatter than Vazquez is. |

I think you fellas' are jumping the gun way to early. You have to give Wright at least 10 Starts to say you hate him or not. That was no joke lineup tonite he faced, that's a bigtime 9 Baltimore has. Bigbie,Gibbons and Roberts is a sweet unknown 3 after you face the Big Guns; Tejada,Sosa,Palmeiro,Mora,Lopez. Also, don't forget Wright was in the NL last season, he needs to adjust. The one thing I would say that concerns me is our middle relief, it looks like a group of former starters thrown together with little direction, and only 1 LHP. |

Jumping the gun? :please: Wright struggles with this lineup... Boston is going to destroy him. I don't think anybody is jumping the gun. |

"This lineup" What does that mean? I'd say Baltimore's lineup is Top 8-10 in all of MLB. |

They're good, but they're not Boston. Wright has a hard time with Baltimore, you know he's going to suck against Boston. This is not good. |

Wright will get destroyed by every good team. I wish Lieber was still here. |

I liked Lieber, and I was shocked when he wasn't even pursued by us. He's a former 20 game winner he was great for us down the stretch last season. He's only downfall is that he gives up HR's. |

He's slated to face Schilling at Fenway next week. The Yanks have about a 0.01% chance of winning that game. |

I disagree with what was said about the Orioles lineup. On paper, their lineup is better than the Red Sox's. Brian Roberts is quality - Mora hit like .340 last season - Tejada had 150 RBI and is now the best SS in the league (WHAT!?) - Sosa might not hit more than .260 but the power numbers should be there in that park - Palmiero won't do anything more than .265/20 HR - Javy Lopez will hit .300 - Gibbons is a mother f*cker (I mean that as a compliment) - Matos can get it done. They've got some firepower. On paper, I think that's a top 5 offense. I think that offense will score more than the Yankees. <- Our offense is overrated anyway. The difference between Wright tonight and Vazquez is homeruns and the time it took for the roof to cave in. Jomerun Javy didn't waste any time before serving them up and he'd fall behind real quick. Atleast Wright pitched with a lead for a minute. |

:blahblah2: I see BC & YF are in mid season form, boy that didn't take long, one start & Wright is a soft L, you guys are pathetic as ever & growing more pathetic as the seconds pass. I'l give him 4-5 starts, if he still sucks then he'll be on the soft L's list w/ Bernie, Brown & Gay-Rod. |

Too late for that. If you saw my thread, you'll notice he is all ready the "ace" of the Club Soft L's pitching staff. Congrats to Jaret Wright, it didn't take 5 innings for him to work his way on to the list. |

I don't think I've ever seen a player more done than Bernie. It's a shame really, he is ruining his legacy. And what really irks me is that I think I'm more embarrassed watching him than he is actually going out there and playing so horribly. :no1: |
