Jaret Wright is walking on thin ice right now.

not good. he only allowed like 13 hrs all of last season. and today, he gives one up to one of the least powerful hitters in the league

John Flaherty C

Why!? :furious:

Joe wants Posada to catch RJ. So he's giving Posada the night game off instead of the day game.

i guarantee, with wright's style of pitching, if he earns that name this year, he will be a major failure.

just a thought. how does alex rodriguez taking total blame help matters? fine, that's nice and dandy that he knows he f*cked up, but it doesn't amount to sh*t if he doesn't start hitting and stop screwing up against boston

That's why he's the captain of Team Soft L. :wall:

Should've just given The JFL his $8 mil. We're going to miss him.

Going to be so much fun watching Jaret Wright pitch this season.

here's a question. can we pin a thread taking count of what happens after stottlemyre visits the mound? someone mentioned it to me years back, and since i've followed, it holds true. whenever stottlemyre visits the mound, the next hitter almost always gets a hit. he visited mo the other day before the floodgates opened, and he visited wright and bigbie followed with an rbi double.

Giambi is another guy dangerously close to joining the Soft Ls. If he does NOTHING this series, he makes it.

Mel has no business sitting on that bench anymore. He hasn't done a f*cking thing to help any pitcher here in years.

He shouldn't be batting ninth, behind slow ass guys like Tino, and in today's case Flaherty. One of Womack's biggest weapon is his ability to bunt for hits. Batting ninth pretty much takes that away from him.
