Stanton is a soft L now. I would've thought we'd have learned from Jeff Nelson when we brought him back in 2003. Guess not. :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :puke:

Damn you guys were lucky on that one. Stanton looked like he was still in a Mets uniform there for a second.

Wow, I was a little late with my last post, damn Yahoo gamecast. :-|

Anyway, I'd like to see some runs in the bottom half of this inning.

Good job Stanton.

He allowed one runner in, it wasn't a great job, but fortunately we still have a lead. Now if we could just hit with RISP maybe we could break this game open.

I'd like to see A-Rod hit a home run off that loud mouth moron, Matt Mantei.

if it wasn't for left-handed pitchers, trot nixon would be an all-star. take a look at these splits. trot nixon

ever seen some hitter so one-sided? .290 against righties with solid power numbers. like .215 versus lefties in his career.

Of course they have to bring submarine pitcher Mike Myers. Nice hit, Matsui.

That's why I said "good job". I hope we can break open the game.

by that i mean, he's striking out like 04 giambi and swinging and missing like 04 giambi, but he's fouling off the balls better and at least hitting it hard a few times like 03.
