First month?

That's good. We'll have our fifth starter be a guy who's unhittable the first month of the season, but gets spanked more than Doug's sister the rest of the year.

We don't have short memories. You have a selective memory.

MSG’s Sports Desk reports that Trachsel will under go surgery this Saturday. In spite of what Omar says (3 months) I would not expect anything from Trachsel this year.

wasshburn would be too expensive, both salary wise and prospect wise to keep just for one season.

i hope petit is being considered but i seriously doubt it.

washburn's salary helps the mets out, they can probably trade less to get him, stop acting like the mets are the kansas city royals, they can take back as much salary as they want so don't use that as an excuse!!!

Sunshine, the pitchers the Mets are talking about wouldn't cost anything more than low-level prospects. We're talking about the Adam Seuss's of the baseball world.
