I'm Bored

The Mets have signed

Quote:

first baseman/outfielder Brian Daubach and right-handed pitcher Joey Hamilton to minor-league contracts. Daubach, 33, who played for the Red Sox, spent most of last year with Triple-A Pawtucket. Hamilton, 34, last appeared in the majors in 2003 with Cincinnati.

I think Justin thought you were asking him "Why?" in reference to his comment about Galarraga being scared or something.

I was always a big fan of Daubach. I will don his jersey once again that I have from his first go around with the Mets.

You had his jersey? I don't even think he made it out of the minor leagues! He was drafted in 1990 and there's no evidence at all that he even sniffed the Majors until 1996 when signed by Florida......:wtf:

LOL, that's like me buying a Kerry Robinson jersey or something. :serious:

Ray, you are making it seem as if Brian Daubauch is a piece of sh*t like Roger Cedeno. Cut the man some slack.

I didn't say Daubach was a piece of sh*t. I just said it was weird to buy his jersey when all he was was a draft pick playing Single-A ball.

He didn't make the majors with the Mets, so I guarantee they probably didn't even make a Daubach Mets jersey.

That would be odd.
