Actually, I said in the rules thread that there are none but I just wanna make sure its the same for tourney. Everything is in bounds? Doug had mentioned a first round bye. Are we doing that? There aren't any "few others". Its us 4 and the 2 Bostonians. Let's go with that. I'll be in that finals (guaran-fcking-teed) and I don't think I've got 5 rounds in me. There isn't enough sht to say. I like 2 of 3 throughout. It gives both sides a chance to come back and enough room to go to work. Five is overtime and by then, both sides are out of material. Another idea: We'll choose a coin flipper to decide who goes first in each battle. Yeah, like the Super Bowl. One combatant will be designated "away" and he'll get pick on heads/tails. Coin flipper, we want a real coin being flipped in your home.

Each combatant has 24 hours to respond to a verse. It would be less but we have to take school and work into consideration. A full day should be enough time to get it in. If the battler isn't able to get it in within that time, that's a forfeit. Each round will be judged by itself. There will be 3 rounds per battle and to avoid ties, we'll vote on who won the previous round. Two of three votes wins. There is the possibility of a sweep but it also gives the person who lost the first round a chance to come back in the 2nd and 3rd. Voting will not be done through polls, but by post-in votes. Its no longer annonymous but it prvents votes that shouldn't count. It'll keep some guy with 1 post who just got here a minute earlier and doesn't know anything about anything from being able to vote and affecting to the outcome. It'll keep the mischeivous person who could really give a sh*t and just wants to pick a name from affecting it.
