I saw someone ask about his progress last week, here's an update.

What is Jorge De Paula's current situation following his season-ending elbow injury last year? -- Roy O.

De Paula had surgery at the end of April, and it typically takes 12-18 months to make a full recovery. There would seem to be a chance that De Paula could return this season, though his rehab is unlikely to progress to the point where he would have an impact at the big league level in 2005.

He's in mini-camp. They put him on a throwing program and has a shot of being ready for ST.

It doesn't look like he's going to be a factor. We need to sign a few of the fucksticks that are left.
