Agreed. This is NOT a bad signing at all. We have lost both Cairo and the Roach who both combined to become the FT 2nd baseman for the Yanks last year. Sanchez will probably come into games in the late innings. Womack is pretty good defensively and so is Sanchez. Jeter's is a warrior and wants to play in every game. Sanchez will only play for Jeter if he's injured. The only bad thing about Sanchez is his bat. If he does hit it will be a pleasant surprise. I don't think Sanchez will hit like Cairo, but his defense will make up for it.
