It is indeed Posada. I like Jorge. I rarely rip him cause I understand the posistion he plays so I give him a break when he's in slump. Those are very good numbers he puts up as a catcher so lets show him some more appreciation  :peace:

This post (not the thread, the post) should be put into the Hall of Fame, just for how shocking it is.

I could understand him being weaker and not generating enough bad speed, but his body being worn down has nothing to do with him chasing two changeups in the dirt then taking strike 3 on a fastball down the middle. Being tired isn't the reason he chases bad pitches when there's a runner at 3B w/ 1 out. Hell, if anything, being worn down would make you a little more reluctant to swing.

Can't believe this sh*t. You were my "w/ RISP" brother. I don't discredit his numbers. He's still one of the top 3 or 4 offensive catchers in the game, but its the wasted ABs in the clutch that I hate. That 24/92/.391 doesn't mean a damn thing to me (or you) when he's chasing bad pitches and striking himself out. I'd trade him and get bitch slapped by Michael Clark Duncan for Jason Kendall.

Not every player is perfect. Yeah, I hate when Jorge will chase 2 change ups in the dirt and then take a fastball down the middle for strike 3. I just get tired of the people(Amit and Andy) who want to chase this guy out of town for sh*t stains like Mike Matheny. Jorge may be alot of things but a soft lesbian is not one of them.

Don't think I'm going soft in my old age either. I'm ready to take on any Yankee this season. :agent:

You ahole, BC. LoL. I had written down all the starting C, 2B, SS, and CF from every team and then narrowed it down to who could have averaged those numbers. I think my only two guesses were Steve Finley and Ray Durham, but I knew the numbers were a little too high for Durham. I thought maybe you were making a point that we should have signed Finley to be our CF instead of going into the season with Bernie. Jose Vidro as well, but his homers are a little low to fit.
