 My God, maybe they can start Spring Training a little early this year? These next 30 days or so are going to go as slow as can be, I know it!! :furious: |

Yeah. As much as I can't stand the rumours, I'm starting to miss them. Everything in Yankee land is too quiet. :crybaby: At least the A-Rod trade last year kept up busy. |

Be happy that we have baseball 11 months now. That's great sh*t. It wasn't always like that. If you still want to think about the team, we still need a 6th starter, a utility guy, and probably another outfielder. Look around for good bargains. That can be fun too. |

:fyou: This was WAY more painful then Sox/Yanks DBacks/yanks etc..etc...etc.....this is the WORST feeling I've ever had after a sports game, and it hasn't gone a way yet. :wall: |

:-| The Giants playoff collapse against the 49ers doesn't feel as bad as the 2001 World Series or the ALCS. This stupid loss against the Steelers shouldn't either. You would've lost to the Patriots anyway. |

That 9ers game was in the wildcard round, so it's a little different. We SHOULD be 60 minutes from the Superbowl PERIOD. Sure the Pats likely beat us, but when it's 1 game for all the marbles you never know. Any team can win any given day. My heart is cold and black right now, thanks Doug Brien. :no1: |

The conference was weak that year and we could've competed for the Super Bowl. Plus you weren't up 38-14 in the 3rd quarter. |

Well, whatever but the simple fact remains that his is the MOST painful loss I ever experienced. I didn't even scream or yell after we lost to the Bo Sox, all that yelling was out of me after Games 4 and 5. Anyway, I can personally say this is the WORST loss I've been through. If you think it's silly, that's fine. These are my feelings though and I can't help it. :crybaby: |

It's not like the Jets were expected to be a super bowl team. If Schottenheimer knew how to coach in the post-season they never would have even gotten past game 1. That Giants-Niners game bothered me a long time too. THANKS FOR BRINGING IT UP :fyou: :fyou: :fyou: But I'm over it now. :peace: |

2001 WS Game 7 was the biggest heartbreaker. Had the radio all set up to record Sterling's call. The Rangers loss to the Isles in OT back in '84 really hurt too. |

You can blame Marty on several occasions just like you can blame Herm a lot in the Steelers loss along with Brien. Bottom line is we should be in the AFC championship now. I just talked to my best friend who is also a fellow sports nut and I'm feeling a little better now, firt time I got to talk to him since the game. :peace: STill the WORST loss ever. |

I think Sturtze and Wang can spot start until somebody goes down for a prolonged period of time. Somebody else will probably emerge like Halsey did this season. Andy Phillips can be the utility guy since we have three short stops in our infield, I think the outfielder is the only pressing need right now. |

Escalona has a better shot of being the utility guy then Phillips. They should still sign a veteran to compete for the spot too. I want to see some veteran pitchers signed to minor league deals too. Damian Moss has control problems and got released by the Rays. I'd sign him to a minor league deal and try to work out his probs. |
